Top 10 Fall Fashion Trends

I know, I know, I know. We are all still spending the majority of our time inside as many places are closed, But…….

Let me drop these hot fall fashion trends so when the world opens back up, you’ll be serving style the right way hunty!

  1. 2020 Fall Colors: Jewel Tones; amethyst, ruby, deep jade, sapphire or citrine. This palette just screams fall. And if you’re a fan of the Kardashians you’ll see that Kim’s new fragrance lines are based on these dark and beautiful hues that are perfect for this time of year.

  2. Prep School: School girl uniform look with bright or muted checks. I’m talking argyle, polo cardigans, plaids, pleats and penny loafers! “Carlton” from Fresh Prince of Bel-Air would be in awe of this style!

  3. Patchwork: Jordan and I did this look with some old denim jeans a few years back and created a really cute skirt. I’m talking about quilt-like creations with attached embroidered pieces. I personally couldn’t pull off a full body look but I’ve paired with a nasty lil’ top or bottom.

  4. Capes: These ain’t just for super hero’s y’all. Works perfect with an over-sized belt or knee length boot and you are giving “pumpkin spice latte” vibes! Opt for a wrap shawl for full coverage or hooded cape for an remixed look.

  5. Fringe: More-so on finished coats versus dresses this season. Instead of fringe strictly at the bottom of your clothes, Net-a-porter has a really dope skirt that trails fringe from the knee up to the waist, sooooo cute!

  6. Lingerie: Thanks to Rihanna and her Fenty Fall Show last week, we got options ladies. Layer a sexy bra under a blazer or jacket or a corset over a cute button up to make a true statement this season.

  7. 18th Century Victorian-Era: Now I’m sure you’re saying this particular trend is NOT “the business”, but it is! Heavy on the lace, puffy sleeves and high-neck tops. And you’ll be surprised at how many boutiques have already began stocking their inventory with these finds.

  8. Heavy Metal/Metallic: Shimmering pinstripes or sassy sequin has ruled the virtual runways this year. Pair a jazzy lil’ camisole or bodysuit under a blazer for an easy transition if you’re too afraid to go full on “Disco Fever”!

  9. Cut-outs: If you’re daring enough to add a dose of sex appeal to your fit, here you go! Find your sexiest slither of skin and show it off. Collarbone, ribs, shoulder or back. Not recommended for work unless you have a job where you’re able to REALLY “werk”!

  10. Shearling: Take a back seat JLO, cause shearling is the talk to the season. Shearling is very similar to sheepskin but the texture is just a bit more rigid. Now I actually don’t own either one, so I don’t want to hear no mess from you PETA folks!
